Eccomi qui, scrivo dopo un pò di giorni per aggiornarvi su un paio di piccole news. Primo: nei giorni scorsi sono stata a Roma da con un paio di amiche adorabili... la capitale è fantastica!

Here I am, I write after few days to tell you some little news. 

First: I was in Rome in the last 3 days with 2 lovely friends of mine... Rome is fantastic!

Ci siamo divertite molto per la città, nei negozi, su e giù per le viuzze!!! Siamo state anche al concerto dell'Earth Day a villa Borghese per sentire Patti Smith e Carmen Consoli! La sorpresa più simpatica? Scoprire questo cartello vicino a casa di una mia amica...

We had a good time in the city, into the shops, up and down through lanes!!! We went to the Earth Day concert to listen Patti Smith and Carmen Consoli! Funniest surprise? To find these signals near my friend's house...

Suburra, or Subura is the italian and latin for Suburbs... Great!!!

A Roma ho fatto giusto un paio di acquistini che poi vi mostrerò, però ho adocchiato qualche negozietto che mi garba!!!
La seconda novità è che finalmente Suburbs è su facebook! Sono molto molto contenta!!!

I bought only few things that I'm going to show in my next post, but I found some little shops which I love!!! The second news is that Suburbs is now on facebook! I'm soooo happy!!! 

Credo che nelle metropoli vestirsi in modo raffinato sia, paradossalmente, di una cafonaggine mostruosa quindi il mio consiglio, per chiunque voglia andare a Roma, è: jeans, converse e una bella camicia colorata! Ah, soprattutto una borsa comoda!!!

I think that dressing up in an elegant way in big cities is very raffish so my little little piece of advice is: jeans, converse and a colorful shirt! Above all a capacious bag!!!

DIY cropped tee

Volevo fare una cropped tee da qualche giorno, finalmente ci sono riuscita! Ho preso una maglietta di Fabrizio De Andrè, uno dei miei cantautori preferiti...

I wanted to make a cropped tee last week, finally I succeeded! I took a tee with a picture of Fabrizio De Andrè, one of my favourite songwriters...

... e poi l'ho tagliata con un pò di pazienza

Il risultato è qualcosa di ibrido, un aggettivo che mi rappresenta molto nel modo di vestire. Un pò rock un pò glam, un pò easy un pò particolare... poi le cropped tee ultimamente mi piacciono troppo!

Non so perché ma in primavera e in estate prendo delle sonore influenze. Succede solo a me? Negli ultimi giorni ho avuto la febbre e non ho potuto postare nulla ma ora sono carichissima! (Ecciù!) Oggi ho finalmente tirato fuori la tee a righe! Primavera sorprendimi!!!!

Ieri la mia adorata coninquilina Laura si è laureata, è stata bravissima ed adorabile. Spero le siano piaciuti i regali che abbiamo pensato per lei con le altre! Le abbiamo preso un mazzo di girasoli

Il lunedì mattina è odioso, la mia autostima è six feet under! L'unica nota positiva è il mio Rouge Coco Mademoiselle. Giuro. Per il resto faccio pendant con una brutta mattina grigia! Ci vuole un pò di carica, propio come Pollon con la sua polverina magica!

Sunrise and amber.

Qualche tempo fa, naviganto per blog, ho trovato uno sneak peak della stagione f/w Chanel 2011. Tra le foto di questa collezione splendida, ispirata ai mosaici bizantini, ho trovato questa

Some time ago I found a sneak peak of Chanel 2011 f/w season. Within the pics of this collection, inspired by Byzantine mosaics, I found this one:

 inutile dire che è stato amore a prima vista. Ho aspettato un pò ma finalmente sono riuscita ad avere la mia manicure. La mia cara amica Giulia ci ha lavorato su parecchio ed è stata fantastica! La ringrazio ancora moltissimo <3 Non vedo l'ora che diventi un'estetista così da perseguitarla con le mie folli idee!!! Il nome che la mia amica ha trovato per questa nail art è "Sunrise" perchè i colori ricordano il sole che sorge dal mare! Infatti si è ispirata alla foto che le ho proposto, ma l'ha rielaborata in chiave privaverile/estiva

It was love at the first sight. I waited for a while but finally I got my nails done. My darling friend Giulia worked on it a lot and she was fantastic! I thank her soooo much <3 I can not wait that she becomes a beautician so I will haunt her with my crazy ideas!!! The name she gave to this nail art is "Sunrise" because the colors remind the sun when it rises from the sea! She was inspired by the pic I showed her but she revised the model in a spring way

Mi piace troppo l'effetto della collana d'ambra con il nail art. Comunque quest'anno il giallo, l'oro e tutti i loro derivati vanno molto come smalti.
