Ascoltare musica live mi piace. Nonostante le orecchie doloranti, questa è un'attività che dà grandi soddisfazioni. Stasera ho sentito/visto gli Egokid e secondo me sanno fare buona musica. Mi piacciono soprattutto le loro melodie. Visto il clima mite i capri ci stavano alla grandissima!

Suburra, or Subura is the italian and latin for Suburbs... Great!!!

A Roma ho fatto giusto un paio di acquistini che poi vi mostrerò, però ho adocchiato qualche negozietto che mi garba!!!
La seconda novità è che finalmente Suburbs è su facebook! Sono molto molto contenta!!!

Volevo fare una cropped tee da qualche giorno, finalmente ci sono riuscita! Ho preso una maglietta di Fabrizio De Andrè, uno dei miei cantautori preferiti...

Outfit crisis #6 - Do you have spring flu? I do!

 inutile dire che è stato amore a prima vista. Ho aspettato un pò ma finalmente sono riuscita ad avere la mia manicure. La mia cara amica Giulia ci ha lavorato su parecchio ed è stata fantastica! La ringrazio ancora moltissimo <3 Non vedo l'ora che diventi un'estetista così da perseguitarla con le mie folli idee!!! Il nome che la mia amica ha trovato per questa nail art è "Sunrise" perchè i colori ricordano il sole che sorge dal mare! Infatti si è ispirata alla foto che le ho proposto, ma l'ha rielaborata in chiave privaverile/estiva

It was love at the first sight. I waited for a while but finally I got my nails done. My darling friend Giulia worked on it a lot and she was fantastic! I thank her soooo much <3 I can not wait that she becomes a beautician so I will haunt her with my crazy ideas!!! The name she gave to this nail art is "Sunrise" because the colors remind the sun when it rises from the sea! She was inspired by the pic I showed her but she revised the model in a spring way

Adoro Tilda Swinton e il suo stile. Ogni volta che la vedo penso ad un bel quadro di Tamara De Lempicka: minimale e -in qualche modo- ricco. La sua famiglia ha una lunga tradizione militare e, non so come, ma il suo stile ha qualcosa di rigidamente marziale.

Dopo averla adorata nel film "Io sono l'amore" l'ho avvistata durante i Golden Globes 2011 vestiva JIl Sander.

I admired her in the movie "I am love" and then I whatched her during Golden Globes 2011, she weared Jil Sander.

Proprio nel film di Luca Guadagnino del 2009 l'attrice britannica veste abiti che Raf Simons ha riadattato dalla collezione dell'anno precedente di Jil Sanders. I costumi sono stati curati da Antonella Cannarozzi che per questi ha ricevuto la nomination per la categoria Best Costumes, vinta purtroppo da Alice in Wonderland. Come dice Franca Sozzani, questi abiti sono quello che "la Milano bene vorrebbe essere". In effetti osservando lo stile di Emma.-Tilda ci troviamo di fronte a linee pulite, colori decisi ma mai azzardati e, in generale ad outfit casti. Nell'immaginario collettivo questo è il modo di vestire tipico della signora milanese anche se in realtà anche l'ambiente signorile della grande metropoli pecca di eccessi. Sempre secondo la direttrice di Vogue Italia i femminil ed eleganti chignon della Swinton ricordano quelli di Grace Kelly nei film di Hitchcock. In realtà il lavoro della costumista e di Simons è stato molto più certosino e accurato del semplice osservare e ricopiare. Non hanno copiato nè Jil Sander, nè lo stile borghese, nè il modello femminile tipico dei film di Hitchcock ma hanno rielaborato tutti questi stili in una eleganza senza tempo.E' molto triste vedere che il lavoro dei mestieranti italiani non venga riconosciuto all'estero, da una organizzazione tanto competente come quella degi Academy Award. La Cannarozzi è, insieme a Dante Ferretti e Milena Canonero, una delle migliori costumiste al mondo. E se non lo dicono gli Oscar, lo diciamo noi.

In the 2009 Luca Guadagnino's movie the british actress wears outfits readjustet by Raf Simons and based on Jil Sander 2008 collection. <Costumes have been studied by Antonella Cannarozzi who received the Nomination for Best costumes althought the price was sadly won by Alice in wonderland. As Franca Sozzani says, these clothes are what "Milano bourgeois would like to be". In effects watching Emma-Tilda's style we see  simple lines, definite colors but never bold and, in general, chast outfits. In our mind this is the tipical style of a refined bourgeois family in MIlan even if also in that ambient often people exaggerate. Franca Sozzani says also that Swinton's feminine and elegant chignons remind Grace Kelly's ones in Hitchcock movies. The work of the costume designers has been more accurate and careful than a simple copy of many models. They didn't copy neither Jil Sander neither bourgeois style neither Hitchcock's women but they reworked all of them in a timeless beauty. It is very sad to see that italian costume designers work is not recognized abroad from a such competent organization as Academy Award. Antonella Cannarozzi with Dante Ferretti and Milena Canonero are great, maybe the best in the world and if Oscars do not say this, we do!

Friday night fever.

Lo ammetto: non sono giovanile e di solito faccio tardi davanti ad una tazza fumante di tè...Però mi sforzo di capire i giovani di tutte le età. Capisco che le trentenni ringalluzzite e un pò represse ballino pornemenete e che tra i maschietti neo-maggiorenni l'eterosessualità non sia di tendenza per la stagione s/s 2011. Capisco tutto. Capisco ma non perdono. Come potrei perdonare il binomio minigonna sfrangiata+toppino ad una ragazza di oltre 120 kg che fa quattro salti in una pista semi-vuota? Come ve lo beccate il tacco12 di vernice rosso ferrari il venerdì sera? Per non parlare di bustino+gonna animalier+calze operate... un trittico che sembra urlare"ho una classe che levati"! Ah, dimenticavo. Le nostre affezionate trentenni sparano gli ultimi colpi prima della menopausa: i leggings satinati raccomandati per fare social clubbing! Ragazzeeeee riprendiamoci!

I must admit it: I'm not a young -looking girl and I go to sleep late only after a tea party... But I strive hard to understand young people of all ages. I understand that silly and a little bit repressed women of thirty years dance(... how can I say?) pornish. I understand also that heterosexuality is not in vogue for boys for this s/s 2011. I understand but I don't forgive! How could I forgive the binomial frayed miniskirt+top on a 264 lbs girl dancing on an empty floor? How do you get a ferrari red high heel on friday? Plus... the tryptich corset+ animalier skirt+ worked tights seems to screem "I'm so fu***** cool!!!" (soooo sad!) Ah, I was forgetting... Our dear fake-young ladies are firing last shots before menopause: black satin leggings highly recommended to make social clubbing!

Outfit crisis #2

 

Oggi sono uscita per un giro al mercato. Come sempre si sgomita con allegria tra la folla alla ricerca di... boh, qualunque cosa. Oggi il centro è stato invaso dagli stand del "Love Chocolate" (http://www.lovechocolate.it/) e ho avvistato dei simpatici macarons. Mi sorridevano da dietro il vetro e sono passata oltre come la peggiore delle peccatrici. Come ho potuto? Erano così carini! Il tempo, tra l'altro, ci ha rifilato un solenne PACCO: prima ci ha tutti illusi col sole poi-pugnalata dietro le spalle- ecco un vento gelido che mi ha afflosciato la cofana di capelli. Mannaggia! Scusate l'aspetto da sfattona ma il giro mi ha sfiancata (causa problemi logistici). Il mercato, comunque, è sempre pieno di donne coi capelli un pò cuccurucù (cfr Marge Simpson) e i vestiti da Fran 'n Furter (vedi foto sotto). Se mai girerò un film sul MALE DI VIVERE la scena madre saràin un mercato!

Today I went out to the marketplace. You have to practice elbowing to find...I mean, anything! Today my Suburbs was plenty of  "Love chocolate" stands and I saw funny macarons. They smiled to me beyond the glass and I walk away like the worst b***h ever! How could I? They were so cuuute! The weather awfully cheated us: first there was a beautiful sun then - stab in the back- a frozen wind which  ha lowered my bun. Damn! Sorry for my sloppy look but the tour tired me! Anyway the markeplace is alway full of women with hair strange as Marge and with Frank 'n Furter dresses on! If I'll ever shoot a movie about nasty life the first scene will be in a marketplace.

Outfit crisis #1

Ogni outfit è una sfida.  Ogni abbinamento è un rischio.  Eppure, quando c'è il carattere, ci si può mettere ogni cosa. Fondamentalmente io sono ossessionata dall'effetto che i dettagli e gli accessori danno ad un modo di vestire semplice e minimale.

Bon ton & Black Swan.

Adoro il cinema e la moda. Come rinunciare a scrivere qualcosa su Black Swan? I tutù che indossa Natalie Portman sono stati realzzati dalle sorelle Laura e Kate Mulleavy per Rodarte e sono stati esposti al Museum of modern art di Los Angeles. Nonostante tutto il film non ha ricevuto la nomination per i migliori costumi dall'Academy Awards che ha invece preferito film come True Grit o Il discorso del re.Visto come è andata la notte degli Oscar mi sembra strano che non abbiano candidato anche The social network per i migliori costumi. Probabilmente avrebbe vinto. Natalie Portman in questo film è tanto bella da spaventare, perfetta e terribile allo stesso tempo. Non pensavo si potesse arrivare tanto vicini alla perfezione. Gli attori, le musiche, la regia e i costumi giocano col bipolarismo e con la duplicità. Per ogni cigno bianco c'è un cigno nero. E vivono nella stessa persona. In scena i tutù rodarte passano dal bianco al nero da un atto all'altro. Durante le prove i body di Nina si tingono di nero passando attraverso grigi più o meno chiari. Fuori, nella vita reale, i vestiti di Nina-Natalie sono bon ton. Sotto al lungo cappotto rosa veste sempre colori neutri, femminili e graziosi così da risultare elegante anche quando si allena.

I love movies and fashion. Why not speak about "the black swan"? The dress Natalie Portman wears are made by Laura and Kate Mulleavy for Rodarte and they have been exposed in Museum of modern arts of los angeles. In spite of this the movie did not received the nomination for best costumes by the Academy Awards wich preferred movies like True Grit or The King's speech. I was surprised that "The social network" did not received the nomination too. It would surely have won! XD In "The black swann" Natalie Portman is so beautiful to scare, perfect and terrible at the same time. I did not think that a movie could be so near to perfection. Actors, soundtrack, director and costums play with bipolarism and duality. Every white swan has its black one. And they live in the same person. During the ballet Rodarte costumes change from white to black in the transition between the acts. In traing time Nina suits become black passing by different shades of gray. Out, in real life, Nina clothes are very bon-ton. Under the long coat she alway wears neutral, female and pretty colors so she's elegant even when she trains.

Sicuramente questo film sta facendo tendenza e sta ispirando non solo ogni ragazza a cui piaccia lo stile bon ton ma anche le grandi firme:

Welcome back!

Pensavo di non tornare a scrivere in un blog e ora che l'ho fatto sembra che io non abbia niente da dire. In realtà ho tante idee per la testa e provando a buttarle giù tutte insieme verrebbe fuori un bel macello. Facciamo così: andiamo a piccoli passi. Innanzitutto il mio blog parla principalmente di due argomenti: moda e cinema con incursioni varie ed eventuali nei temi che mi frullano in testa.
